Our company’s mission is simple: to start developing Huayhuash local communities through sustainable ecotourism. Through this website, the Huayhuash communities of llamac and Pocpa are offering their ecotourism services. Our company offers guided trips by horse back, trekking and cross-country or downhill bicycling; as well as rock and ice climbing. Trips will include all meals, donkeys or horses to carry your equipment. Huayhuash communities are not currently benefiting from tourism because most of the private tourism operators retain most of the profits for themselves. Because llamac is one of the principal gateways to cordillera Huayhuash, it is a very attractive region for travel agencies and private companies to bring tourists. These outside businesses are profiting while locals are receiving very little benefits. Through this website, travelers have the opportunity to work with local communities directly, so most of the profits will stay in these communities.
